We are currently seeing a highly knowledgeable and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team of clinicians who value and implement a whole body approach to wellness. We have integrated the knowledge and skillset of physical therapy and exercise physiology to create a customized plan to implement life-changing habits such as consistent exercise, quality sleep, mindful nutrition, and more.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with the patient's healthcare team to create the best plan to reach optimal results.
- Document patient care and treatment in compliance with medical standards and regulations.
- Recommend, as appropriate, products and services to help improve patient's dysfunction and encourage healthy lifestyle habits.
- Assist in education and training of staff and students, as needed.
Qualifications
- Must meet and maintain New York Licensing requirements
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Proficient in medical terminology and patient care
- Experience in discharge planning and developing care plans
- HIPAA Compliance Training
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Experience in outpatient setting is preferred, however, a history of diverse settings is also welcomed.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Strong ties to community is highly encouraged- participating in community events and involvement is welcomed!
