We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist whose primary role is to provide clinical exercise and wellness training services to our community members in our evolving LifeStyle Medical Practice.
Our family-oriented outpatient PT clinic offers a culture of excellence, innovation, integrity, gratitude and teamwork. We are transitioning to a LifeStyle Medicine Clinical practice where acute and chronic health challenges are integrated into our LifeStyle Management Plan of Care.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Conduct LifeStyle Medicine consultations for members, including Health Risk Assessments, movement screens, needs analysis, and goal setting in order to recommend appropriate fitness programming and complementary wellness services.
- Develop comprehensive progressive fitness programming to support and motivate participants and ensure optimal lifestyle management
- Collect and analyze clinical outcome data on members and programs
- Monitor, engage and instruct participants in the LifeStyle Medicine center on safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength training equipment within the facility.
- Educate members on clinically proven health and fitness education, available fitness and engagement programming, and complementary wellness services.
- Maintain positive customer/client experience by providing the highest quality of service.
- Supervise and oversee students and interns in LifeStyle Medicine Gym
Qualifications and Skills of Successful candidates
- Have at least a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science related field with exercise training experience.
- Possess excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Be able to work both collaboratively and independently, and effectively prioritize key tasks.
- Be able to multi-task and possess strong organizational and time management skills to meet required deadlines
- Be a team player with a strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Have strong customer service skills, on the phone, through email and in person and be interested in and attentive to cross-cultural communication
- Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently
- Willingness to be creative, develop efficient practices and systems and learn new skills
- Participate in community outreach initiatives, as well as having the opportunity to present at professional education conferences.
